Governor’s Councillor Eunice Zeigler Endorses Tram Nguyen for Congress

Andover, MA -  Today, State Representative Tram Nguyen announced the endorsement of Massachusetts Governor's Councillor Eunice Zeigler, following the endorsement from the SEIU State Council earlier this week. 

“Tram Nguyen’s dedication to working class families is rooted in her lived experience. As a first generation immigrant myself, I know the profound value of leaders who understand the fight for economic survival and basic human dignity,” said Councillor Zeigler. “Tram is a battle-tested organizer and state legislator who knows how to deliver, and will fight tirelessly to expand housing security, drive down healthcare costs, and stand up for workers. I know firsthand the kind of advocate it takes to fight for the Merrimack Valley and North Shore, and Tram is exactly that leader. I am proud to stand with her and endorse her campaign for Congress.”

On the Governor’s Council, Zeigler represents 28 of the 29 towns and cities that comprise the 6th Congressional District: Amesbury, Andover, Beverly, Boxford, Danvers, Essex, Georgetown, Gloucester, Groveland, Hamilton, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, North Andover, Rockport, Peabody, Rowley, Salem, Salisbury, Topsfield, Wenham, West Newbury, North Reading, Reading, Tewksbury, and Wilmington.

This key endorsement comes after the SEIU State Council threw their weight behind Nguyen’s campaign, joining an ever-expanding list of endorsements, including over fifty of her colleagues in the State House, numerous city and town leaders, and six other labor organizations throughout the district and state.
