We came with just $100 in our pockets. My parents worked day and night to build a future, and I carried that determination into everything I've done since.
As an attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services, I dedicated my career to fighting for those too often left behind—survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, people from the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, immigrants, low-wage workers, and people with disabilities.
I oversaw efforts to help victims of violence, wage theft, and exploitation rebuild their lives and find justice.
Since then, I've delivered real results for Massachusetts families, passing landmark laws to combat the climate crisis, strengthen workers’ rights, and make government more accountable and inclusive.
